That’s not it, thriller Malang starring Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor, and the 2019 hit War, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff will also open in theatres. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported on Wednesday morning.
There were also reports that many films that were released on OTT platforms during this time will be re-released on big screens. However, leading cinema chains of the country have decided not to screen these films. Movies including Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie Dil Bechara, Shakuntala Devi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Sadak 2, Gulabo Sitabo, and Khuda Haafiz among others won’t be released in theatres as decided by theatre chains including PVR, Cinepolis, Inox, and Carnival.
