UP Assistant Teacher Result 2020: Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority has uploaded the results for UP assistant teacher recruitment exam on Wednesday. UP assistant teacher recruitment result was declared on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Candidates who appeared for the UP Assistant Teacher recruitment 2020 exam can check the result online by visiting the official website at atrexam.upsdc.gov.in.
The qualified candidates include 36,614 of general category, 84,868 of other backward class category, 24,308 belonging to Scheduled Caste and 270 candidates from Scheduled Tribe category.
Result according to the training course background of the qualified candidates:
- D.El.Ed- 38,618
- B.Ed— 97,368
- Para- teachers– 8018
- Others— 2064
The result for 69,000 assistant teacher recruitment has been released on the official websites of NIC and exam regulatory authority.
UP Assistant Teacher Result 2020 Live Updates
The UP assistant teacher recruitment exam was held in January. Last week, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered the authority to announce the results within a week.
The exam answer key was already released on Saturday, May 9. Earlier, the Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court had upheld a revised cut-off of 60 per cent for reserved category and 65 per cent for general category candidates.
Over 4.3 lakh candidates had applied for the recruitment drive, out of which 3.8 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination.

The cut-off clash:
UP Basic education minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi said that the next day after the examination on January 7, 2019, the passing criteria has been revised making 65% (97 out of 150 marks) for general candidates and 60% (90 out of 150 marks) for reserved category candidates.
After that, the para teachers filed a petition in the high court. The court gave its verdict on March 29, 2019, supporting the candidates and set criteria of 40 and 45 percent for reserved and general category candidates respectively.
