UP TET 2018: Cheating gang busted, 6 held

The Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday nabbed six people who tried to help the students in cheating in UP TET 2018.

Miscreants have been arrested by Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force from Moradabad for trying to rig Uttar Pradesh Teacher eligibility test (UPTET) examination being conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board scheduled to be held on November 18, 2018.

The gang was out to facilitate cheating by using high-tech gadgets in UP TET exam.

UP TET 2018 exam is underway. UP TET 2018 shift 1 examination for I-V class started at 10. 00 am and concluded at 12: 30 pm. The board will conduct the shift 2 examination (class VI-VIII) from 03:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m.

UPTET Exam paper consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II.

Paper I – The Paper I is objective type exam paper. It consist of 150 questions. The exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.

Paper II – The Paper II is objective type exam paper. It consist of 150 questions. The exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.
