Patna: Rashtriya Lok Samata Party chief and Union Cabinet minister Upendra Kushwaha is all set to quit National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the seat sharing issue for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls 2019.

Kushwaha who is also the minister of state in the Human Resource Department is waiting for the final decision of Bhartiya Janata Party over the issue before making an official announcement.

At the same time, Grand Alliance of the opposition is all set to welcome him in the Mahagathbandhan.

The situation has worsened in the past couple of days after the formal announcement over the seat sharing in Bihar was made by the BJP chief Amit Shah and JDU president Nitish Kumar in New Delhi.

Kushwaha tried to meet the BJP president recently in Delhi and had a meeting with Sharad Yadav ahead of this meeting, which added the fuel in the seat-sharing controversy for the upcoming General elections.

His continuous meeting with the rival politicians have further irked the NDA leaders and BJP leaders are angry over his statements made on the issue of non-meeting with Amit Shah.
