Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah dropped the national flag of India during flag hoisting ceremony at party headquarter in New Delhi on Wednesday. Amid slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’ and ‘Vande Matram’ by the party leaders nd workers, Amit Shah was trying to unfurl the flag when he pulled the string, due to some mistake, the flag came rolling down to the ground. Although it was immediately corrected, but the incident had opened the window for the trollers on social media and was hugely criticized for this.

The event was going live on the state television channel Doordarshaan. The clip of the show has gone viral on social media. Opposition party also seems to take dig at Amit Shah over the incident and tweeted, “How will someone handle the country, who can’t even handle the national flag properly?”
