UPSC Civil Services Final Results 2019 announced: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the civil services final results on the official website. The provisional appointment list for the candidates who have qualified in the Civil Services Examinations 2019 has been released.
On the basis of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2019 result conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in September, 2019 and the interview round for Personality Test held in February-August, 2020, the Commission has released the list, in order of merit of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:
- Indian Administrative Service;
- Indian Foreign Service;
- Indian Police Service;
- Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

Pradeep Singh has topped the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2019 while Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma stood second and third respectively.
A total of 829 candidates have been recommended for appointment as per following break-up:
- GENERAL – 304
- EWS – 78
- OBC – 251
- SC – 129
- ST – 67
Candidate’s appointment to the various Services will be according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the provisions contained in the examination rules.
