UPSEE 2020 postponed: AKTU announces new exam dates

UPSEE 2020: The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU) has postponed the UPSEE 2020 exam and the university has released a notice which stated that the exam will now be held on September 20, 2020. Students can visit the official website to check notification.

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE), which is held by the AKTU, was earlier slated to be held on August 2 but got delayed to September 20, because of the health and safety risks posed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The official notice reads, “All candidates must note that the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam 2020 (UPSEE), which was supposed to be held on August 2, stands postponed. The exam will now be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020.”

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, most entrance exams and college admission processes are being postponed for the safety and well-being of the students and staff. Educational institutes across the country have been closed since March.

AKTU has decided to postponed UPSEE 2020 after it was announced that the JEE Main 2020 is also being delayed this year. The JEE Main Exams 2020 would now be held between September 1 and 6, 2020.

Due to the deferment of JEE Main 2020, the JEE Advance exam also stands postponed and will now be conducted on September 27. The NEET UG 2020 exam has also been delayed and now will be conducted on September 13.

Every year, the UPSEE exam is conducted for admission into Undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated MBA, integrated MCA and lateral entry programmes in colleges affiliated to AKTU. In 2019, the exam was held in April, however, it was postponed this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
