South Korean tech giants Samsung is expected to launch its foldable smartphone officially on February 20 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung’s foldable smartphone is likely to be called the Samsung Galaxy F.
Samsung being one-step ahead of its rivals is likely to release the Galaxy F in San Francisco on February 20 before MWC 2019 as many smartphone manufacturers are likely to launch their foldable smartphone flagships at Mobile World Congress 2019 to be held at Barcelona starting from February 25.
The world finally saw a glimpse of the foldable phone during the Samsung Developer Conference 2018 in New York on November 7, last year when Justin Dennison, Senior Vice President of Mobile Marketing, took out a real foldable smartphone from his jacket.
Slashleaks have uploaded the official leaked video of Samsung Galaxy F on YouTube, here you can watch it:
The phone showed in the leaked Samsung video also reveal a sleek looking foldable smartphone rather than the clunky prototype shown at the company’s annual developer conference in November last year. When folded, the Samsung-made smartphone looks like a regular phone with four icons per row.
At Samsung Developer Conference, Samsung had said that the phone will come with a small 4.58-inch front-display with a resolution of 840×1960 and a 7.3-inch screen with 1536×2152 QXGA+ screen resolution.
The foldable device may come in two colour options- Black and white. The leaked video renders could be merely a representation of the promotional version of the Galaxy F.
