“Scientifically, it activates numerous neuroreceptors and proprioceptors, enhancing sensory feedback and improving balance and coordination. This leads to greater body awareness, heightened mental focus, and a profound sense of grounding,” he further added.
Why Did He Do It?
Instead of a publicity stunt, Jammwal characterized the odd behavior as part of a very personal yogic tradition. He called the experience an annual Sahaja practice in his caption, a yogic discipline he practices as a Kalaripayattu (one of India’s oldest martial arts) practitioner.
As per the actor, Sahaja means going back to a “state of natural ease and instinct,” a philosophy that promotes a sharp sense of body awareness and a strong connection with the natural world. He pointed out that the practice activates sensory receptors, enhances one’s stability and coordination, and develops mental focus.
This is not the first time Jammwal has posted provocative content based on his fitness and spiritual routines. Earlier he had posted videos of him meditating in snowy landscapes, walking rope bridges, and other nature-based rituals as part of his annual retreat to be intense and difficult.
