Malaysia will be the first country outside of China to get the X100 series. It will be released a day early, on January 3rd. We know a lot about the phones’ specs and functions since they were first released in China. Let me quickly go over it.

A curved OLED screen measuring 6.78 inches, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits of brightness is built into both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, in the hole that looks like a punch card.

There is a Dimensity 9300 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage in the cellphones. You get Android 14 right out of the box when you buy it.

The main things that set the two types apart are the camera and battery. There are three cameras on the back of the regular X100: a 50-megapixel main sensor (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens (150° FOV), and a 50-megapixel periscope zoom lens (OIS). The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 120W.

That’s not all. The X100 Pro has a bigger 1-inch 50-megapixel main camera, a special 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and the same 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It also has Vivo’s V3 chip for better camera performance and a slightly bigger 5,400mAh battery that can be charged wiredly at 100W or wirelessly at 50W.

Next, both the X100 and X100 Pro have an IP68 grade, which means they are protected against dust and water. They also support WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C (USB 3.2), NFC, an IR blaster, and an X-axis linear motor.
