In dramatic incident, Bindu Ammini, the woman activist who managed to visit Sabarimala temple last year, was attacked today when she was on her way to the shrine.
Speaking about the incident, Bindu Ammini said, “A man sprayed chilli and pepper at my face.”
According to the reports, Bindu Ammini was attacked by a member of a Hindu outfit using pepper or chilli spray outside the police commissionerate. The accused has been identified as Srinath Padmanabhan and was reportedly taken into custody, police said.
A video of the attack has gone viral on the social media.

Recently, Supreme Court allowed women to enter the Sabarimala temple while Kerala government denied any sort of protection to the women.
