WBBSE Madhyamik Results 2020 DECLARED: WB Madhyamik result 2020 has been declared by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today i.e., July 15 at around 10:00 AM on the official website of West Bengal Results. Students can check and access their Madhyamik Results 2020 online via official result checking websites i.e. wbresults.nic.in.
West Bengal Board has held a virtual press conference at 10 AM in which the WBBSE Madhyamik Results 2020 has been announced, according to the latest media reports.
To check West Bengal 10th result, students have to log onto by using their roll number and date of birth. This year, about 10 lakh students have taken in the West Bengal 10th Board examination.

Students can get their WB Madhyamik result 2020 through SMS by sending an SMS to 5676750 in the following format ‘WB10 Roll Number’.
As per reports, the West Bengal Board has confirmed that the distribution of original marksheets to the students will be done later on after the results are officially announced today. However, schools will provide the mark sheets to all their students by maintaining social distancing as there are several areas under lockdown and multiple containment zones in the state.
Students will be provided with their WB Madhyamik mark sheets on July 22 and 23, 2020 via their respective schools.
Around 10,15,888 candidates have taken the WBBSE Madhyamik examinations this year and of them, 5,76,009 are girls. The exams were conducted from 18th to 27th February 2020, prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, this year result announcement got delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown.
In 2019, West Bengal Madhyamik result was out on May 21, 2020. The pass percentage of the students was 86.07% last year. Sougata Das from Mahammedpur Deshpran Vidyapith bagged the first rank in the West Bengal Class 10 exams by scoring 694 marks out of 700.
