BJP Candidate List West Bengal Election 2021: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released the first list of candidates for 57 seats for West Bengal Assembly Election 2021.
Releasing the candidate list, BJP General Secretary Arun Singh said, “BJP’s Central Election Committee has approved the names of candidates on 57 seats for West Bengal Assembly elections. Out of 57 seats announced, the Baghmundi seat has been given to AJSU for West Bengal Assembly elections.”
The Nandigram Assembly seat in West Bengal’s Purba Medinipur district is all set for a mega political contest with the BJP on Saturday nominating Suvendu Adhikari to take on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
“Mamata Banerjee will soon join the inglorious list of incumbent Chief Ministers to lose their own elections,” BJP West Bengal co-incharge Amit Malviya said on Suvendu Adhikari contesting against Mamata Banerjee for Nandigram seat.
BJP has nominated Bharati Ghosh, a former IPS officer, for the Debra seat. She will take on Humayun Kabir, former IPS, of the Trinamool Congress. The battle in Debra seat will witness contest between two former IPS officers.

The BJP has announced candidates for 57 out of 60 seats which is going to polls in the first two phases. West Bengal assembly elections will be held in eight phases between March 27 and April 29.
