WhatsApp Update: Pin Multiple Messages in Chats Now Available – Check Details!
In individual chats and groups, WhatsApp users will now be able to pin up to three messages. Pinning multiple messages will help users keep track of the information shared by others.
The Meta-owned giant reiterates that users can either pin text messages or other messages, including text messages or other messages, including emojis, media, and voice messages. In a one-on-one or group chat, you simply long-press the message you wish to pin.
Upon pinning a message, WhatsApp will ask for confirmation of its duration, such as 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
A message that is pinned stays on top of the chat and can be accessed by tapping on it. Group chat admins have the power to decide if they want to pin messages or whether others can do the same.
On the messaging platform, you can also pin individual and group chats.
Recently, WhatsApp blocked people from taking screenshots of other users’ profile pictures. Currently, the feature is available only to Android smartphone users, but is expected to be available on iOS devices soon.
WhatsApp is also reportedly testing a feature that will allow users to post longer videos in their status messages.
