RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in his annual Vijayadashami address said the whole of Kashmir, including Gilgit and Baltistan, is an integral part of India. He said, “Kashmir is an integral part of India. So is Gilgit-Baltistan. A large part of Kashmir is free of tension and violence. We must act against those indulging in this violence.”
Bhagwat showed confidence in the government saying, “Their schemes and programmes, the way they work, it gives us confidence that they will do something”
While commenting on the caste discrimination he said that we need to be careful against these divisive forces. We need to unite society so that such elements do not take advantage.
He backed gau rakshaks and gau raksha saying it is a part of directive principles of state policy in our constitution. He added that gaurakshaks try to operate within the realm of law. “The administration must keep in mind that some people who break the law should not be compared with Gaurakshaks,” said the RSS chief.
Bhgawat lauded Indian army for the surgical strikes they conducted across the LoC. He said India’s reputation in the world has gone up because of what our Army did.
Bhagwat said that education is not business and should be accessible to all. He asked to take a relook at recommendations of new TSR Committee report on education.
