Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra alleges he has been used as political bait by opposition parties for nearly a decade. They cannot prove anything without proof, and there is nothing there to prove, he added, calling allegations “false” and “baseless”.
Vadra took to Facebook to vent. “Almost a decade of governments false and baseless accusations on me! They cannot prove anything without proof, and there is nothing there to prove…,” The post reads, “I will always be used for political gains, I know … But I will walk with my head held high, as in time and with the truth which will conquer incorrect perceptions, that are created about me.”
Vadra was recently accused in a land scam in Bikaner. He was issued a notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with this. Further, the Justice SN Dhingra Commission enquiry report into controversial Haryana land deals is expected to be submitted soon. This commission was appointed by the BJP government in May 2015.
