Newly sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that he will implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
Yogi Adityanth, addressed his first public meeting as the state’s chief in his hometown at Gorakhpur.
“I am thankful to the 22 crore people of UP who gave the BJP, on the insistence of the world’s most popular politician PM Modi and Amit Shah, a chance to form the government,” he said.
He added PM Modi’s development programmes are being made available to all the citizens.
“He (PM) has entrusted me with the responsibility to make the dreams of the state true. PM Modi was worried how to fix things in UP, how to develop this huge state,” he said.
“I might not be available in Gorakhpur as much as I would want to, but a solution would be provided for all the problems. We would dedicate ourselves to the service of the state,” he said.
“We have made anti-Romeo squads in Uttar Pradesh active. Girls and boys on roads together should not be troubled if it’s with consent. I have asked authorities to go hard on road-side Romeos,” he said.
He assured that there will be no discrimination on the grounds of religion, caste or gender.
He announced that the government will provide assistance of Rs one lakh to those who are fit and wish to visit Kailash Mansarovar.
“Will revive sugar mills, resolve aanganwadi worker’s issue, will create jobs for youth and will work day and night for it,” he said.
