Winter 2026 Anime Release: The Fall 2025 anime season is slowly ending, and fans are already getting excited about what comes next. Winter 2026 is shaping up to be a big season for anime lovers. Many popular shows and new titles are ready to arrive. Crunchyroll has now shared its full Winter 2026 anime lineup weeks before January starts. The big surprise is that the season will not wait for January. It will begin early, starting from December 20, 2025.
In total the Crunchyroll will stream 42 new anime during this season, which will run from December 2025 until March 2026.

This season brings a mix of very famous anime and smaller shows that many people may not know yet. Crunchyroll is also bringing Oshi no Ko Season 3 to its platform.
The company had announced this earlier, and now it is confirmed that the anime will stream on Crunchyroll for the first time in January 2026.

There is one anime, Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I’ll Obtain Ultimate Power, that will release in January 2026. However, its exact release date is still not confirmed.

One Piece update
One major change this season is related to One Piece. For the first time in a long while, One Piece will not stream new episodes on Crunchyroll during Winter 2026. The anime will air the final episode of the Egghead Arc on December 28, 2025. After that, the series will take a break and return with new episodes in April 2026.
