6.75mm Ultra-Thin Design
As with most power banks, this one’s big selling point comes down to the size, it’s incredibly slim at just 6.75mm thick and weighs about 105g. It also includes an interesting feature which lets users attach compatible phones using magnets, enabling them charge their smartphones wirelessly. This makes the accessory very versatile, as you never have to worry about your phone getting considerably bulkier whenever you want to recharge it.
5,000mAh Battery
Though this new unit has tiny dimensions, we see that the new Xiaomi power bank comes equipped with a 5,000 mAh silicon carbon battery. This tech allows the manufacturers to get better energy densities inside a small area which makes sense when designing such slimy charging units.
Moreover, you can charge your devices wirelessly as well! Though you’ll need to ensure that you’re using compatible phone models because they support wireless charging up to 20W capacity, earlier versions come with just 15W wireless charging capability.
If you love connecting with wires then you are going to be thrilled because this model’s USB Type C port lets you charge your gadgets with a maximum of 27W power. Also, check out if these units have common charging standards too, such as PD & QC.

How Is It Different From the Previous Xiaomi Power Bank?
The previous iteration of this power bank was only 6mm thin with an approximate weight of 98g that could support 15W Wireless as well as up to 22.5W for Wired Charging.
Now while the thickness has increased slightly from its predecessor, making it 6.75mm thicker than before and also weighing around 105g, but the charging output seems to have been enhanced considerably. This power bank will now be able to charge at a speed of 20 Watts Wirelessly & 27 Watts using a USB C cable.
This also indicates that Xiaomi’s primary priority with this model has been on faster-charging capabilities, which has come at the cost of a slightly less-thin design. Both devices have 5,000mAh battery capacities but check out the actual specification alongside its regional specification.
