Xiaomi Tag Tracker at MWC 2026: Xiaomi is getting ready to show its new tracking device called the Xiaomi Tag to the whole world. The company has said it will launch this small gadget on February 28, 2026. The big launch will happen at its MWC event in Barcelona. The event will start at 2 PM CET. Many other new products will also be shown on the same day.
The Xiaomi Tag is very small and light and it weighs only 10 grams and its thickness is just 7.2mm. So you can easily keep it inside your bag or attach it to keys. It runs on a CR2032 coin battery. Xiaomi says this battery can last for around one year before you need to change it. The main job of this device is simple, it helps you find lost things like keys, wallets, or bags very fast.
Features and Compatibility
This tracker works with both Apple and Android phones. It supports Apple’s Find My network and Google’s Find Hub system. That means people using iPhones or Android phones can both use it. The Xiaomi Tag uses Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC to help track items. It does not have ultra-wideband technology right now. Still reports say a new version with UWB may come later.
Before the official launch, the Xiaomi Tag was already seen on some European shopping websites. The leaked price shows €17.99 which is about $21 for one unit. If someone buys a pack of four, the price is €59.99 which is about $70. Xiaomi wants this product to be cheaper than other trackers like Apple AirTag, Moto Tag, and Samsung Galaxy SmartTag.
Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone. The company will show Redmi Buds 8 Pro earbuds and the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Magnetic Power Bank too. Some new AIoT products will also be presented, Xiaomi seems ready to bring many new gadgets for users in 2026.
