The oath taking ceremony is set to turn into a show of power by the BJP with the attendees including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, and party chief minister JP Nadda, along with over a dozen chief ministers of BJP-ruled states. This is only the second time in over three decades that a party has won two consecutive assembly polls in the state. At the meeting of the party’s newly elected MLAs, Adityanath said the prime minister’s inclusive mantra’ of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas had its impact on the UP poll results, and thanked him and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for guiding him through the first term.

Ahead of the Yogi Adityanath Oath Ceremony 2022, probable ministers who might make it to the cabinet this year have been invited for tea by Yogi Adityanath. Those invited include Dinesh Sharma, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Nand Gopal Nandi, Siddharth Nath Singh, Jai Pratap Singh, Suresh Khanna, among others.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made around Ekana Stadium in Lucknow where Yogi Adityanath will be taking oath as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Friday. All sensitive points will be surveilled by ATS commandos, while snipers have also been deployed at high-rise buildings in the area. CCTVs and drones are also being used to manage the crowd.
