Many times the police authorities have rules the headlines for their bravery and prompt action in the situation of crisis. However, at times, they also appear in news for keeping their patience high while dealing with some of the bizarre demands from the citizens.

Recently, the Uttar Pradesh police face a hilarious situation where a man actually dialled police helpline number 100  not for some emergency. The man actually wanted a lift in the police car as he did not have the money to travel from Ujhaari to Gunnaur in UP.

The guy called UP police and asked the police to drop him to Gunnaur. Police arrived immediately and took him into the van.

In a video doing rounds on social media, the man is seen telling the officers that he had no cash with him and he wanted to go to Gunnaur for which he called the police helpline.


The policeman then asked him if he has used any kind of narcotics. The guy boldly replied that he hasn’t consumed anything like that but only chillum which he has been using all his life.


In another hilarious incident, a youth approached policemen in Nagpur with a complaint to find his “stolen” heart. The youth wanted to file a complaint stating that a girl has ‘stolen’ his heart and cops should get it back. Not so amused by the man, the cops eventually sent him back. Read here.
