Maruti Suzuki and Toyota started working together in 2017 after signing the Memorandum of Understanding. The partnership helps both the companies to be each other’s strengths in different fields as Toyota provides eco-friendly technology and Maruti is known for its high-level manufacturing expertise.
There’s a lot of competition in the market however, both the companies will overcome the hindrances and expand in the existing market place. Earlier, Maruti-Toyota jointly developed Toyota Glaze last year which was a modified version of Maruti’s Baleno.

The Toyota Glanza model was also shipped to South Africa. It should be noted that Maruti is also expanding its business with Nexa and are planning to launch more vehicles. Talking about the upcoming model, it is expected to launch in 2022.
The mid-size SUV has been the recent trend, speaking if the features of the new car will have a touchscreen infotainment system along with connectivity features. However, there is no information about the engine or whether it will be diesel or petrol.
