New Delhi: Instamart, India’s leading quick-commerce platform, has teamed up with Kalyan Jewellers to bring certified gold and silver coins directly to customers’ doorsteps—just in time for Akshaya Tritiya. This collaboration marks Kalyan Jewellers’ debut in the quick-commerce space, making last-minute festive purchases as seamless as ordering groceries.
Starting April 25, consumers in all 100 cities served by Instamart—including major metros—can choose from a curated selection of auspicious coins:
-
Gold Coins (24K, BIS Hallmarked): 0.5 g and 1 g, featuring motifs such as Flower, Ayodhya, Lord Ganesh, Swastik, and Goddess Lakshmi
-
Silver Coins (999 Pure Silver): 5 g, 10 g, and 20 g, adorned with designs like Ganpati, Laxmi, and combined Ganesh-Laxmi imagery
Whether for gifting, religious rituals, or personal investment, these coins symbolize prosperity and new beginnings. Beyond Akshaya Tritiya, Kalyan Jewellers’ gold and silver coins will remain available on Instamart year-round, offering consumers anytime access to trusted, certified precious metals.

“We’re excited to welcome Kalyan Jewellers to our platform ahead of Akshaya Tritiya,” said Amitesh Jha, CEO of Instamart. “With more customers embracing the convenience of quick-commerce for festive and traditional purchases, this partnership is both timely and relevant. Our goal is to ensure that customers can access trusted, certified products like gold and silver coins with the same ease as groceries or household essentials.”
“Akshaya Tritiya is a time-honoured tradition, and purchasing gold or silver on this day is considered especially auspicious,” added Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director at Kalyan Jewellers. “Through our collaboration with Instamart, we’re integrating the auspiciousness of tradition with the ease and speed of modern living—delivering Kalyan’s certified coins straight to customers in minutes.”
To celebrate this golden partnership, Instamart rolled out InstaGold, an on-ground activation in Hyderabad. A high-footfall location was transformed into a sea of chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil—among which five real gold coins were hidden. Passersby had one chance to pick a coin and test their luck, blending tradition, surprise, and festive cheer in an interactive experience.
