The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the Class 12 board exam results for the Science and Commerce streams today, May 31, 2025. The results were announced by School Education and Literacy Minister Ramdas Soren at a press conference held at the JAC Office in Ranchi.
According to the council, the Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 79.26%, with 98,634 students appearing for the exam and 78,186 passing. Among them, 38,732 students secured first division, 19,383 passed with second division, and 63 students cleared with third division.
In the Commerce stream, 22,066 students appeared, with 20,285 passing — achieving an impressive pass percentage of 91.20%.
Students who appeared for the exams between February 11 and March 4, 2025, can now check their results online at jacresults.com, using their roll number and roll code. Results are also available via DigiLocker (results.digilocker.gov.in) and through SMS by typing JHA12 <Roll Code + Roll No> and sending it to 5676750.

The JAC had already announced Class 10 results on May 27, 2025. In comparison, the overall pass percentage last year (2024) was 85.48%, with Science and Commerce streams achieving 87% and 84% respectively, and Latehar district topping the state with 98.38%.
