ISSO U-15 Golf Title: Young golf prodigy Devvrat Singh Rajawat from Ahmedabad, Gujarat has had an outstanding run at the ISSO Golf Championship 2026, winning the boys’ U-15 category at the Jaypee Wishtown Golf Course, Noida with a massive 13 shot victory.
The championship from August 24th to 27th saw around 50 boys and girls from various regions of the country compete in multiple age categories. However, Devvrat had one of the standout performances of the event, recording a brilliant three day total of 210 (-3).
This score was not only the best in his age category but even better than the boys’ U-18 champions.
13 Shot Victory
A 13 shot victory is a big deal in competitive golf. With a three day total of 210 (-3), Devvrat had a brilliant performance considering the boys’ U-18 champion Smyaan Gupta had a total of 213 (Even Par). Therefore the U-15 champion had a better score than the U-18 champion.
Devvrat had an amazing display of consistency, calmness and composure throughout the competition. He received the first place in the boys’ U-15 category and had the best overall score of the competition.
Boys’ U-18 Category
Smyaan Gupta won the boys’ U-18 category. He had a total of 213 (Even Par) over the three days of competition. Sohang Har Kantor came second with a score of 219.
However, given that he had a three shot lead over the U-18 champion it shows how well Devvrat performed.

From Mayo College To The World
Devvrat Singh Rajawat is a student at Mayo College and has been gaining recognition in competitive golf.
Playing for Ahmedabad, Gujarat and attending the prestigious school in Ajmer, Devvrat has been showing his talent in competitive golf.
His achievements this year have given him the opportunity to compete on the world stage. He has qualified for over nine world championships and will be representing India at the upcoming ISF World School Golf Championship.
ISF World School Golf Championship 2026 In Morocco
The International School Sport Federation (ISF) World School Golf Championship 2026 will take place from November 2nd to 8th 2026 at Golf de Tazegzout, Taghazout-Agadir, Morocco.
The international championship has boys’ & girls’ U-15 and U-18 categories.
This championship is played over 72 holes meaning there are four 18 hole rounds. There is also a team championship. (ISF)
The inaugural ISSO Golf Championship was held in association with Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and the Indian School Sports Organisation (ISSO).
