LEGO Pokémon Sets Confirmed: After years of waiting, the first Pokémon sets under the officially licensed Pokémon category by LEGO and The Pokémon Company International were completely revealed, marking a significant point not only in LEGO history but also in the Pokémon fandom. The sets depict Pokémons in the iconic LEGO brick form for the first time and they come in time for the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Pokémon.

LEGO Pokémon Sets Confirmed: Launch Date

The sets that have been confirmed so far are planned to be available for purchase starting from February 27, 2026, which is also the day of the Pokémon event. This is an annual event where people all over the world celebrate the Pokémon franchise. The launch date has been chosen deliberately for it to coincide with Pokémon’s long history and therefore, the LEGO fans’ wait for a new product will be very much shorter.

Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group, said: “Bringing the world of Pokémon to life in LEGO bricks is both an exciting opportunity and a great responsibility. We’ve worked to combine our worlds in a way that truly celebrates the creativity, adventure, and wonder that Pokémon represents. This partnership opens up a whole new range of possibilities for Trainers and builders alike, and we can’t wait for fans to experience these new LEGO Pokémon sets.”

LEGO Pokémon Sets

The LEGO’s first Pokémon collection consists of big, intricate, show-piece style models instead of performance-based or children-oriented sets. Every model has a movement capability and a display base that attracts adults who build and collect and are like the designer series of LEGO such as Ideas or Creator Expert sets.
