In this new DLC players go into a strange new place called Hyperspace Lumiose. They can reach it through the portal Pokémon Hoopa. The trailer says, “At a glance, Hyperspace Lumiose may resemble the real Lumiose, but it’s a very different place.” This shows that the city is not the same as the one players already know. Inside this new world, Pokémon can become even stronger than before. They can go past Level 100 which is something never seen in normal Pokémon battles.
Players will also meet a new friend named Ansha. She is a happy donut chef who helps trainers in their journey. Ansha gives them special magical sweets that make their Pokémon stronger for a short time.
These mysterious treats let Pokémon temporarily go above their normal limits, making battles more exciting inside Hyperspace Lumiose. also Korrina, the gym leader from Pokémon X and Y, will return as a trusted ally in this new adventure.
New Mega Evolutions
The new trailer confirms that Mega Baxcalibur and Mega Chimecho are joining the list of powerful Mega Evolutions. The Mega Stone required to unlock Mega Baxcalibur will be given out in Season 4 of the game’s online ranked battles. This follows the same pattern as the earlier releases of Mega Stones for Mega Greninja, Mega Delphox, and Mega Chesnaught.
Also a new side mission called “Shine Bright like a Gemstone” has gone live today. This mission gives players the chance to earn the Mega Stone for the Mythical Pokémon Diancie. Nintendo stated that this mission will be available to all players, whether or not they have bought the DLC. The title of the mission is a playful nod to the famous Rihanna song

Many pointed out that if you buy both the DLC and the base game on the upcoming Switch 2, the total cost would reach $100, which sparked mixed reactions online.
Meanwhile Pokémon Legends: Z-A has also received its first post-launch patch today. The update brings several fixes and improves ranked battles and solves multiple bugs to make gameplay smoother.
