Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 8: Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani’s romantic action drama is still holding a steady grip at the ticket window. The movie picked up nearly Rs 5.50 crore net in India on Day 8, so the domestic net total is sitting around Rs 119 crore, as per industry trackers.
It released in cinemas on August 14 2026 and it has not slowed down abroad either. Overall worldwide gross has inched close to the Rs 170 crore line with reports saying the global total reached Rs 169.17 crore by the close of Day 8.

After a solid first week, Awarapan 2 saw a somewhat restrained dip on its second Friday. The film earned about Rs 5.50 crore net in India on Day 8, which brings the eight-day domestic total to Rs 119 crore net. Meanwhile, its India gross is estimated at around Rs 141.87 crore.

Awarapan 2 Worldwide Collection Nears Rs 170 Crore
The worldwide performance has been one of the film’s biggest positives. After eight days, Awarapan 2 had reached approximately Rs 169.17 crore worldwide, according to Times of India.

That puts the film just a few crores away from the Rs 175 crore worldwide milestone. If the second weekend maintains the current pace, crossing Rs 175 crore should be within reach.
NDTV also reported that the film had already crossed the Rs 160 crore worldwide mark before Day 8 and was on course to move beyond Rs 170 crore.
Emraan Hashmi’s Box Office Comeback
Awarapan 2 has, sort of emerged as an important stage success for Emraan Hashmi. The film brings him back as Shivam, continuing the whole world connected to the 2007 original.
The sequel has don well, specially if we look at its reported production cost. It was reported that the film was made with a budget of around Rs 45 crore and it had already shown a solid return on investment after its first week.
