Abhishek Sharma in T20 World Cup: India opener Abhishek Sharma is going through a very tough time in the T20 World Cup. On Wednesday he got out for zero again. This was his third duck in a row in the tournament. Things are not going well for the young batter and fans are clearly worried.

His latest dismissal happened during India’s match against the Netherlands at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He was bowled by Dutch off spinner Aryan Dutt just three balls after the innings started. He could not score any runs again.

Earlier in the tournament he was dismissed in different ways. Against the USA he was cleaned up by Shadley van Schalkwyk with a first ball yorker. In the match against Pakistan he fell to off spin from Salman Ali Agha. Now against the Netherlands he was out once more without scoring.

Jersey Change Fails to Break Bad Luck

Before this match Abhishek tried something different. He wore the jersey of Mohammed Siraj before going out to bat. He was hoping that this small change might bring him luck and help him score runs. The unusual move got people talking on social media. But sadly for him it did not help. His bad run with the bat continued.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bat first in this final Group Stage match. India also made two changes in the team. Vice captain Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were rested. Washington Sundar and Arshdeep Singh came into the playing eleven.

The Netherlands made one change as well. Noah Croes replaced Fred Klaassen in their side.
