AEW Revolution 2024 Main Event Revealed: On Sunday, March 3, 2024, AEW is scheduled to broadcast its highly anticipated Revolution pay-per-view event from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. Recent rumors may have provided insight into the match that will serve as the focal point of the PPV.

The focus of this year’s Revolution pay-per-view is The Icon Sting, who will participate in the last match of his career. Sting is also from North Carolina, which provides the ideal setting for The Vigilante’s final stand, in which he and Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Titles against Nicholas and Matthew Jackson. Recent reports indicate that the match will serve as the centerpiece of the revolution.

The most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter published the following passage about Sting’s latest match.

“Sting & Darby Allin vs. Young Bucks (EVPs Nicholas & Matthew Jackson) for the AEW Tag Titles will Main Event AEW Revolution: WON.”

Sting delivered a sincere message to his AEW Dynamite supporters.

Sting’s final AEW Dynamite of the Week occurred this week, as he will retire at the Revolution pay-per-view event. During his segment on Dynamite, the Icon descended from the rafters, which was a fantastic tribute to his earlier days in WCW. However, following the conclusion of Dynamite, Sting cut an emotional promo in which he thanked both the fans and his professional wrestling industry peers.

“I am not only conducting my final Dynamite, but I am also conducting it in Huntsville.” My final Dynamite performance is with Darby Allin as my tag team companion. I am performing my final Dynamite maneuver while the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, stands beside me. You respond with “Thank you, Sting,” which is equivalent to “Thank you.” Your gratitude is appreciated, Huntsville, Alabama. This is the second time I have emerged from the ceiling of this structure. When I first hurled the bat, it was to Dallas Page. That is right, there is some noteworthy history. “I am delighted to be back in my current location,” he declared.

He continued by expressing his gratitude to Darby Allin and Flair once more, stating:

“During all these years, what am I to say? What am I to say? Since what I have to say is inconsequential, I would like to express my sincere gratitude from the depths of my heart. I am unable to have accomplished any of this without my tag team companion, Darby Allin. This individual, the Nature Boy, is the reason for my international recognition. This individual, the Nature Boy, is the reason for my international recognition. Huntsville, you have my heart.”

Sting’s return to All Elite Wrestling after his retirement from Revolution pay-per-view is uncertain. Several reports have been circulating about Sting’s potential return to WWE, but it seems unlikely due to his lack of medical clearance to compete.
