In view of Lok Sabha elections 2019, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party has begun to explore the ground reality and new sites for the expansion of party, following which party chief Upendra Kushwaha has marked Jharkhand as a new spot.

RLSP, which is in loggerheads with BJP and JDU over seat-sharing in Bihar, has started to widen its spectrum towards Jharkhand.

Recently, Upendra Kushwaha visited Ranchi and stated that “We are strengthening our support in Jharkhand and every day our reach is increasing in the state including supporters and workers”.

As a fact, Upendra Kushwaha belongs to Koeri community, which is present in a fair amount in Jharkhand, following which RLSP would be mainly focusing on boosting its cadres within the community. According to sources, RLSP has noted that no party in the state can form its government without the support of OBC.

Upendra Kushwaha, who is exploring new equations with several political outfits in Bihar and Jharkhand, would be campaigning aggressively for the party in Jharkhand and could play spoilsport for several. Conversely, upper caste voters are expected to support opponents of Upendra Kushwah in Jharkhand.
