Akshay Kumar suggests a way to reduce rape cases in India

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next, Toilet Ek Prem Katha. The film that discusses the need for building toilets across the country in order to maintain proper sanitation is all set to release in August this year.

Akshay has always stood up for significant causes in the past. And now, in accordance to the theme of his forthcoming film, the actor shared something that has huge relevance in the present scenario.

As part of the message that his film has to convey, Akshay called the people of India to help spread awareness about the cause and importance of building toilets.

Akshay shared a picture with a caption that reads, “According to UNICEF, 50% of the rape cases which take place in India happen when women defecate in the open.” He then asked Indians to put an end to this barbaric crime by addressing the issue.

Moreover, he asked people to be the change and build more toilets to not only enhance sanitation of the nation but also put an end to this terrible crime.

At present, the actor is all set to join his family in London to rejoice his mother-in-law, Dimple Kapadia’s birthday. After that the Khanna family is expected to travel to Paris, Italy and other parts of Europe.

After the release of Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Akshay will have R Balki’s Pad Man opposite Radhika Apte, Rajnikanth’s 2.0, where he plays an antagonist, Neeraj Pandey’s Crack and then Reema Kagti’s Gold.
