Ever since the wedding season in Bollywood has begun, there is one big rumour that is doing rounds on social media and that is rumoured wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. After the two big weddings on Bollywood of Priyanka and Deepika took place, fans were suspicious about Alia getting married next.
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are currently promoting their upcoming film Gully Boy with director Zoya Akhtar. In a recent interaction with media, Alia has finally rested the speculations around her marriage with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
When she was asked by a reporter about the marriage plan she said, “I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later.”
The couple has always been silent on their relationship status but their photos and videos together prove everything without saying.
In a past interview Alia had said “Right now, it should just be left on its own and kind of kept in a corner where it can stay safe and warm. You can say that it’s like a cat in my life that I want to protect, and it’s not ready to come on social media.”
Not only Alia but Ranbir has also been asked about their relationship and marriage plans often and earlier when he was promoting Sanju, he admitted by saying ”I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, ‘This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai,”
The couple will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahmastra.
