Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi 7 is all set to go on sale today, starting from 12 pm IST. The smartphone will be available on the e-commerce platform Amazon as a part of ongoing Amazon Summer Sale 2019. Redmi 7 comes in two different RAM variants- 2GB RAM and 32GB storage option priced at Rs 7,999 and the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version will cost Rs 8,999.
The ongoing Summer Sale on Amazon was started on May 4 and will continue till May 7. Reliance Jio is also featuring a double data offer for up to 4 years and Rs 2,400 cashback with Redmi 7.
Xiaomi Redmi 7: Specifications
Redmi 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, along with an option for either 2GB memory and 32GB storage, or 3GB memory and 32GB storage.
The budget smartphone sports a 4,000mAh battery. The rear of the phone is a dual camera setup which is powered by a 12-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor that will aid with colours, brightness and depth, including what Xiaomi calls ‘AI portrait mode’. It also gets an 8-megapixel front camera.
The handset features a 6.26-inch screen with waterdrop notch at the top. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The screen comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
There is a fingerprint sensor placed centrally on the rear panel and comes with face ID unlock for security. Redmi 7 comes under three different colour options, which are Comet Blue, Eclipse Black and Lunar Red.
