Rajyavardhan Rathor, a 48-year-old sports minister, was on roll over the social media after his photos with sports persons from Asian Games at Jakarta went viral.
Suited up in formals, the sports minister Rathore was seen having meal with other players irrespective of his VIP political badge. The Union Minister won hearts of millions as he encouraged players for upcoming events.

The Sports Minister is himself an Olympic medalist, and many remarked that it makes all the difference when it comes to showing appreciation for sportspersons.
The respective gesture coming in from Rathore is not first of its kind. He has been appreciated several times throughout the year for his initiatives to promote sports across the nation.

Recently, Rathore had announced to bring down the school syllabus by 50% from 2019 in order to make the sports as compulsory subject for the students.
Earlier this year, the ‘Fit India Challenge’ given by Rajyavardhan Rathore over the social media went viral as it invited people to post exercise videos. The Challenge garlanded wide attention and positive response from number of sports persons and celebrities, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
