Annapurna Bhandar Payment Not Credited: In West Bengal, many women are now checking their bank accounts after Annapurna Bhandar payments started reaching beneficiaries. But some people still have not got the money. For them, the first worry is simple: when will the payment come? To help with that, several helpline numbers and official contact points are being shared so people can ask about their status and get help from the right office. Recent reports also say the scheme is now live through the state’s social security portal.
The scheme is being discussed as a new support system for women in the state. It is linked with the wider welfare push around Lakshmir Bhandar, which earlier gave ₹1,200 a month to SC and ST women and ₹1,000 to women from other groups. Government and reporting sources now say Annapurna Bhandar gives ₹3,000 a month to eligible women.

Helpline Numbers
If the money is not showing in the bank account, the numbers being circulated for help include 1800-345-5555 and 1800-345-5505.
Reports also mention Social Welfare Department help at 1800-345-5505, CM Connect at 1971 or 1800-3456-851, the Duare Sarkar general helpline at 033-22143526, the nodal desk at 033-23341563, and WhatsApp support at 82820 82820.
The email ids being shared are contact@annapurnabhandarwb.com, duaresarkar@gmail.com, and secy.wcdsw@gmail.com. The state’s official websites also list public contact details for the Social Welfare Department and the Chief Minister’s support line.
These numbers are useful, but people should still check the official portal or go to the nearest BDO or SDO office before depending on any phone number alone. That is important because the state has also warned people about scams linked to the scheme, and officials have said valid enrolment and help should come through trusted government channels.
Why Payment may be Delayed
There are several simple reasons why the money may not have arrived yet.
DBT not active
One common issue is that DBT may not be active. This can happen if the bank account is not linked with Aadhaar, or if Direct Benefit Transfer has not been switched on.
Spelling mismatch
If the name in the application does not match the Aadhaar card or bank passbook, the payment can get stuck until it is corrected.

Mobile number
A delay can also happen when more than one family member uses the same mobile number. The form should have a unique bank account number and mobile number for each applicant. People with more than one bank account should also check whether the account mentioned in the form is the one with DBT enabled. On top of that, the scheme rules say the applicant or any family member must not be a permanent government employee, a government pensioner, or an income taxpayer. If fake caste papers or forged disability papers were used, the application can be rejected too.
Unfinished verification
Another important reason is unfinished verification. The payment will not move forward until the door-to-door check of the application and documents is completed. That is why many women are still waiting even after applying correctly. Officials have also said the state is moving step by step with the scheme, and some updates such as edit options for applicants are being discussed to reduce mistakes.
