The recent iPhone XR 2019 renders leak suggested that the Apple smartphone’s glass rear panel features a large square bump for the dual camera setup. Earlier, iPhone XI and XI Max renders revealed the triple camera setup at the back with a similar square camera bump.
The renders have been leaked by OnLeaks in partnership with Pricebaba, suggested that the iPhone XR 2019 will see a similar design as what is currently offered in the iPhone XR, but the back is slightly different.
The glass rear panel of the iPhone XR features a large square bump for the dual camera setup, unlike the triple camera setup in iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max. The cameras are arranged vertically, with the LED flash on the right.
Apple is also sticking to the same large display notch on the front, which will be housing the Face ID module components. According to OnLeaks, the display on the iPhone XR 2019 will measure 6.1-inches and the dimensions will measure 150.9 x 76.1 x 7.8mm. As usual, the camera bump will be the thickest point, at 8.5mm.
Details of the cameras included in the bump are also largely unknown, but it is likely Apple will use a similar wide-angle and telephoto arrangement as it does for other dual-lens cameras, this time with a pair of 12-megapixel sensors. Also in the box will be an 18-Watt charger, according to rumors, while battery capacity will be similar to the iPhone XR.
As of now, there is no guarantee that any of the leaks are correct until Apple actually brings the devices on stage during its usual September presentation.
