NEW DELHI: Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on Satuday published the hall ticket for Assistant Professor/ Lecturer Eligibiltiy Test APSET 2020 on its official website. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their admit card on the official website – apset.net.in by using their email ID/ Mobile Number and Password.
The APSET 2020 for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Universities and Degree Colleges as per the U.G.C. Regulations would be held on December 20, 2020.
The exam will include two papers- Paper – I (General Paper) and Paper – II. The question paper – I which is common for all candidates appearing APSET will be bilingual (English and Telugu).
Paper-II for a) Commerce b) Economics c) Education d) History e) Political Science f) Public Administration and g) Sociology will be bilingual (English and Telugu). All the remaining papers are in English only except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu.
Paper-I would be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type questions. Each question would carry 2 marks.
Paper-II would include 100 objective type questions on the basis of the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
The candidate would have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper – II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
Candidates must take a note that there will be no negative marking.
