Venues and Matches
The Asia Cup 2025 will be played at two main stadiums in the UAE
- 1. Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi
- 2, Dubai International Cricket Stadium
The opening game between Afghanistan and Hong Kong will take place in Abu Dhabi, setting the stage for the tournament.
The grand finaal will be held in Dubai, bringing all the drama and excitement to the city. All 19 matches will be split between these two stadiums.
One of the most interseting is India vs Pakistan game, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, in Dubai. Depending on how both teams perform, they could meet up to three times in the tournament, including the Super 4 stage and possibly the final.
Why UAE Hosts Instead of India
India was originally supposed to host the Asia Cup 2025, but the tournament was moved to the UAE because of ongoing conflicts with Pakistan. Recently, India and Pakistan have agreed to play their matches at neutral venues in major international tournaments. The Asian Cricket Council decided to relocate the Asia Cup to the UAE to make planning easier and avoid scheduling problems.
