Assam Board Result 2020: Assam Education Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma informed on Friday, May 29, 2020, that the class 10th result under Assam Secondary Education Board (SEBA) will be announced in the first week of June. He also said that the classes for 10th and 12th standard will be resumed after June 15.

As per media reports, Sarma said, “We have decided to declare the result of Class 10 in the first week of June and then we will start with admission process.  We are planning to resume the classes of 10 and 12 as soon as possible. We are hoping that the number of people coming from different states in Assam will gradually come down till June 15. So there won’t be much problem for the schools to reopen which the government is using as quarantine centres. People coming after June 10 will be quarantined in hotels”.

He also added, “I personally feel that Classes of 10 and 12 should start from June 15.” However, he stated that the final decisions would be taken by the Centre.

The evaluation process of Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), class 10 exam is completed, while only few papers of class 12 are pending. Students who appeared in the exams are advised to keep track of the official website and news updates regarding the results and school reopening.
