Prayagraj: A 53-year-old man burnt alive outside his home in Saramarej’s Chattona village. The man succumbed to death on Friday. As the incident took place, he was immediately rushed to SRN Hospital. It is reportedly said that the man was burnt alive because of his son’s illicit relationship.
Three man have been arrested as the family of the deceased registered a case against Ramshiromani, Halkush and Rajaram, who lived in the village.
The man identified as Ramdhani was a labour and as usual he went outside his home to sleep after dinner. On Thursday night, some people came and burnt him alive, he started shouting and thus neighbours and his family rushed him to the hospital.
Due to the critical condition doctors referred him to the SRN Hospital and on Friday, he was declared dead.
According to reports, Ramdhani gave a statement to the police officers before he was dead in which he named the accused. He said that he was sleeping and the accused started sprinkling petrol. He started shouting before he was burnt. When he was screaming in the fire, the accused escaped.
However, the interrogation of the villagers has also revealed that there was no electricity in the village when the incident took place.
It is reportedly said that a lot of enmity between the deceased and the accused side was going on over the illicit relations of the deceased’s son. The son of the deceased had illicit relationship with a woman of the accused side. The deceased’s son was also beaten up a few days ago.
There is stress going on in village due to which the force has been deployed in village.
