Assam Election Results 2026:The 2026 Assam Assembly elections delivered a strong electoral result which enabled the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to win its third consecutive electoral victory in the state. The party achieved majority control through its own efforts which led to greater power for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) across the entire area.
The early results and confirmed trends show that the BJP won approximately 82 seats which enabled them to achieve a majority in the 126-member Assembly because the majority requirement stood at 64 seats.
