Recently, Atif Aslam made waves with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) anthem for season seven, Agay Dekh, took to Instagram to thank his wife for picking out his look for the music video of the song.

The video sees Atif clad in a fur-lined jacket, black t-shirt and cargo pants, as well as white Louis Vuitton high-top sneakers, complete with a gold chain around his neck.

Sharing pictures of his look from the music video, Atif cheekily thanked his wife, Sara Bharwana, for her styling in the caption.

Initially addressing his listeners and fans, he wrote, quoting lyrics from the song, “Jeet say bhi agay dekh.

Thank you so much for all the love and respect.”

He added about his wife, “I knew my wife’s sense of style was a class apart when she chose to marry me,” along with a winking emoji.

He continued, “Styled by my beautiful wife. Thank you, Sara.”

Praising the video of the song, Atif addressed director Zeeshan Parwez. The Yakeen singer wrote, “What a video, considering the short amount of time we had. Well done.”

He also complimented music producer Abdullah Siddiqui for the soundscape. The anthem features Atif, Abdullah, as well as singer Aima Baig.

Agay Dekh sees Atif delivering the kind of performance expected from a singer of his stature after a long time.

It hits the mark when it comes to getting people on their feet to dance; however, it lacks the grandeur of an anthem, such as that which was present in Abdullah’s previous Zalmi offering, Kingdom.

But despite its shortcomings, the track truly shines as a pop song and has the aggression the previous PSL anthem, Groove Mera, lacked.
