The special CBI court on Tuesday ruled that the charges of the criminal conspiracy be framed against senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Umar Bharti, in connection to the Babri Masjid demolition case.
The trio had appeared before the court in Lucknow on Tuesday and were granted bail in the demolition case.
Dating back to history, on 6 December 1992, a large crowd of Hindu Kar Sevaks (activists) demolished the 16th-century Babri Mosque in the city of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
In wake of this case, ‘#6DecFakrHai’ has been trending on Twitter, after the special court granted bail to these leaders. While some show their consent with the court’s ruling, others seem to disagree with it.
Utterly shameful to be proud of worst day in Independent India #6DecFakrHai#BabriMasjid demolition destroyed India forever.
