Notably, RBI places its Holidays under three brackets --Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.

Bank Holidays in February 2021: All private and government banks across the country stay shut on national holidays and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. However, there are several regional holidays too when both private and government banks stay shut.

So here is the list of Days when the Bank will be closed in February 2021. In total bank will be closed for 7 days in the second month of the year.

Lui-Ngai-Ni: February 15

Saraswati Puja (Shree Panchami)/Basanta Panchami: February 16

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti: February 19

State Day (Arunachal Pradesh & Mizoram): February 20

Birthday of Md. Hazarat Ali: February 26

Guru Ravidas Jayanti: February 27

Note: Holidays may vary depending on the state you live in.
