Banks credit card benefits: Consumer spending is growing fast during the festival and wedding months, so banks and card companies are now adding many new offers for shoppers. Unity Small Finance Bank, BharatPe and Federal Bank all came out with fresh updates that focus on EMI buying, UPI credit payments and weekend deals.

Unity Bank BharatPe Credit Card features
Unity Small Finance Bank and BharatPe explained the new updates for the Unity Bank BharatPe Credit Card. This card works on the RuPay network and tries to make big payments feel simple for users. The card turns large purchases into EMIs on its own, and the user can close the EMI early without paying any penalty. The issuers said the card has no joining fee, no annual fee and no processing fee at all.
The card links with UPI inside the BharatPe app, which means users can pay by scanning QR codes or by using UPI handles but with their credit limit instead of their bank balance.
The issuers also stated that rewards work on both normal card payments and UPI payments. The card gives domestic and international lounge access without any minimum spend rule. It also uses a full digital onboarding so people can apply without any offline step.
Federal Bank Discount offers
Federal Bank rolled out a programme called “Weekends With Federal,” which brings fresh Friday to Sunday deals every week for debit and credit card users. The offers cover many popular areas like food delivery quick e shopping, clothes, gadgets, dining and entertainment.

The bank said the discounts stay between 5% and 10% based on the merchant and the category. The partner apps include Swiggy, Swiggy Instamart, EazyDiner, Croma, Ajio and Zomato District. The bank shared the full rules on its website since each category has different minimum purchase values.
Electronics deals at Croma give people 5% to 7.5% off and the bank said the discount goes even higher when someone pays through EMI using a Federal Bank credit card. Food and quick-commerce discounts apply on Swiggy and Swiggy Instamart, and entertainment offers work on Zomato District for movies and events. The bank expects many users to take advantage of these deals during the busy shopping season festivals.
