Banks across India will remain closed on Tuesday, September 10, on the occasion of Muharram.
While Banks in Tripura, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, New Delhi, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajashthan Kerala and Jharkhand will remain closed on September 10, 2019, banks in Jharkhand and Odisha will remain closed on September 9.
Aside from national holidays, there are state-wise bank holidays as well which may differ among different states.
Banks in Kerala will remain closed on September 11, 13 and 21 on account of Thiruvonam, Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti and See Narayana Guru Samadhi respectively. In Haryana, Punjab banks will remain closed on September 23 and 28 on Heros’ Martyrdom Day, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji Birth anniversary respectively.

Banks in Sikkim will remain closed on September 12 on account of Indra Jatra.
September 13: Banks will be closed in Gangtok, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on the occasion of Indra Jatra/Pung-Labasol/Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti.
September 14: Second Saturday of the month.
