Baroda is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. Baroda falls under Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana. Sri Krishan is the current MLA of Baroda.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, Congress candidate Sri Krishan defeated INLD candidate Kapoor Singh Narwal.

Out of the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes as per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008.
