The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the information about the payments made to Indian cricket players, head coach Ravi Shastri and others. While team India coach Ravi Shastri received a whopping amount of INR 2.05 crore as advance fees for his services for a period of three months, Captain Virat Kohli got INR 1,25,04,964 as his match fees for the South Africa series and the prize money from ICC.
The players received the salaries as retainer fees for their central contracts and match fees. In addition to these, the Test players also got their share of ICC Test rankings prize money received from the ICC. The share of each player from ICC’s prize money was INR 29,27,700.
